MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Greetings Members,

 

We had a great April General Membership Meeting. I mentioned a birthday that we missed recognizing in March. Richard Hague turned 96.  Richard, I apologize for the oversight.  Hoping it was a memorable birthday.

 

The Association’s 2026 “LMAR-FW Operating Procedures” were voted on and approved by membership.  Basically, the only change was the review of the document will be every even number year going forward instead of annually. By popular demand, we welcomed Zim Zimmerman back for further adventures he experienced early on the F-16 program.  We had so much positive feedback from the March meeting that we just needed more. All seemed to be riveted to the info he shared. Thanks, Zim, for sharing more. Finally, we wished Kathy Simpson a farewell as she has decided to move back home to South Carolina to be near family in retirement. Thank you to the Board members who volunteered to prepare a “Kathy Poster”, cake, and “SPECIAL DOOR PRIZE ENVELOPES” for Kathy going forward. Visit us when you can.
