Hello AF Plant #4 retirees.

Welcome to the last days of spring before the HOT days of summer hit for 2025. It is great to have an inside air-conditioned space to meet in and even better with historic Coburn’s BBQ for our picnic. Yes, this was the month to again enjoy the BBQ we ate for many years at AF Plant #4. That was always my go to lunch meal choice for decades, when I did not want the other daily plate lunch items offered. Today’s employees will never know what they are missing. We sold 53 tickets for the May picnic and had 5 first-time attendees. Picnic photos are available for viewing on the Lockheed Martin Association of Retirees-Fort Worth Facebook page. Please take a look at them. Ernest has an exciting speaker scheduled for our June General Membership Meeting and then another picnic is scheduled for July. Ed Neel is investigating a potential LMAR-FW day trip in the fall. Details to follow at future meetings. Don’t forget ROMEO Breakfasts each month.
